Lesson 11

This lesson I got my car finished!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put my wires onto my car and put the battery in and it worked! For the rest of the lesson I helped everyone else and played with my car!!!

Lesson 10

This lesson when I had gotten there I realised my motors had fallen off and first had to glue them back on (this time with more glue). I then cut 2 of the red wire and 1 of the black wire which Jazmin showed me how to do. Once I had finished that Mr Andrews should us how to connect the wires from the body to the controller. Next lesson I am hopefully going to join them together :D

Lesson 9

This lesson I glued down the motors and the battery at he back of the controller, finished my blog and helped Nikky because she was behind. This lesson I learnt out to stand up the glue gun and how the motors worked. This helped my in my project because we need the motors on to make the car go and the battery at the back to link it up to the motor!

Lesson 8

This lesson was the first one back from the holidays and I couldn't remember what to do so Mr Andrews explained it to groups of people. I got alot done in this lesson. I took the plastic off my body and got my wheels glued on! :)

Lesson 7

I spent most of this lesson softening the edges with sand paper and helping other as I had finished everything these was to do.

Lesson 6

This lesson Mr Ward came in and went through our assignment with us and helped me understand what we had to do! For the rest of the lesson he let us finish of writing out blogs.

Lesson 5

This lesson I spent most of the lesson lined up to drill the line from one hole to the other on my body. At the very end of the lesson I just had time to put the buttons on my controller.

Lesson 4

This lesson Mr Andrews gave us our parts for the engine, buttons and wheels in a plastic bag. This lesson I melted my controller and bent it so it was comfortable to hold. I spent the rest of the lesson lined up to drill the holes in body.

Lesson 3

This lesson I sanded the edges of my body and controller the endgrain sander until they were soft around the edges.

2nd lesson

This lesson I got a template and drew on the thermoplastic the outline of the controller and body. Mr Andrews then used the band saw to cut out the shapes. I then used the drill to cut out the circles on my body and the hand drill to cut out the holes on my controller.

1st lesson

This lesson Mr Andrews talked us through the basics of making the car and showed us the finished results from other classes. We then went into the workshop and Mr Andrews talked us through the safety regulations. I then picked my colour of thermoplastic for my body (chassis) and my controller which was pink and white.
